In today’s episode Dr. Becky speaks with Marie Senechal a popular YouTuber and Mental Health Advocate, who discusses her Psychotic episode and experience with Psychosis when she was 20- 21 years old.
Marie explains her upbringing, childhood and teenage experiences particularly with Anxiety and Depression which lead to her experience with Self- Harm. Marie discusses what lead her to Self- Harm and how Self- Harm was a punishment but also a relief to her.

During Marie's major Psychotic episode, Marie experienced paranoia, lack of sleep, and extreme feelings of fear and explains her behaviour as 'unpredictable'. Marie was hospitalised after her suicide attempt when she was 21 years old.

Marie uses her platform on social media to try and help young people who may also be experiencing mental health issues and explains very openly to her followers about her mental health experiences and includes informative and inspirational content.
