Lather: Strop Shoppe - Baker St
Brush: Zenith - B10 Boar Red
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel - Unscented Alc-free w Aloe; Chatillon Lux - Bon Vivant
*General Notes / TL;DR*:
Using an old soap from the early days of this Wet Shaving Rennaisance: Strop Shoppe. Did well. Very good shave overall.
Razor and Blade Notes - Gillette - Sheraton 1938 ::: Gillette - Nacet (127 uses):
To be honest, I don't really think this blade has changed much since use 90 or so. Crazy.
As usual, a little tuggy on the first pass, but all else was good. Just 3 passes and I got an above avg result. Excellent, close shave.
No irritation. Face feels great.
Soap Notes - Strop Shoppe - Baker St:
This was a popular soap a few years ago... for a reason. The lather was excellent. Creamy and slick. Was a bit waxy, but a little went a long way. You only need to use maybe 60% of what you might use of Barrister and Mann, WK, or even Stirling.
1/4 tsp soap + lightly-wet brush + 3 tsp water = 7-8 passes of nice lather.
Scent: It was so light, that I couldn't really appreciate it very well during the shave. But it was pleasant. I'd enjoy this soap if I had to use it.
Scent Strength: 4/10, somewhat present during shaving.
Bowl - I used the XL version of this bowl:

Brush Notes - Zenith - B10 Boar Red:
Great brush. Not many uses, but soft tips still. Slowly splitting, like the Stirling boar, but more comfy by far.
*Shave Quality*
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Felt blade but comfortable
Neck: Felt blade but comfortable
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Cut flush to where I just see the tips (above average for me)
Повторяем попытку...
