Not a Mechanic, Mostly An Idiot, Building His Dream Bike - Tenere 700. Not a How To Video!

OK So first things first I'm not a mechanic and can be a bit accident prone if given half a chance. Yes my best friend does actually call me a 'Colossal Weapons Grade Idiot'. I'm not lying. Actually that could be the first TWOI T-Shirt... Needs a logo or cartoon to go with it....

This video is not a how to by any stretch of the imagination. There are far far FAR more adept mechanics on YT doing exactly what I'm doing here, they are who I am following to get all of this done!!!

This video is intended to help the NOOB's amongst us. I'm one of those noobs. Only passed my test 2 years ago. And I may have mentioned, I am not a mechanic. I'm aiming to help us noob's by showing that some of the things you might think are intimidating right now as a new biker, aren't actually that hard to do. I can do them!

In fact that's one of the things this channel is all about. Trying to show the noob's point of view... stay tuned for Long Distance Solo Rides, learning how to Off-road, Solo Camp trips, bike meets and more!!

Ive always liked bikes, always wanted a black bike... blame Streethawk (I am that old). My first bike was a 14 year old Honda CBF600. A great noob's bike. Not mad, plenty forgiving and fast enough to learn more on.

It took me to Switzerland in 24 hours last year. An immense, amazing experience for me which will be on the channel soon. Your bike doesn't have to be a tourer or ADV bike or anywhere near new to go a long way and let you have great adventures.

It was however... not the bike I was looking for. Much humming, head scratching and I decided on the T7. And Lordy was I right to go for it. It is a beast of a bike in so many ways. Especially to a newer biker. It just does everything I currently want to do, and everything else I want to do in the future....more about that in an upcoming vid though ;)
