Types of Cell Towers
Lattice Tower – A steel structure with a wide base for high stability.

Monopole Tower – A single, tall pole with antennas attached.

Guyed Tower – A tall, thin tower supported by guy wires.

Stealth Tower – Disguised as trees, poles, or even church spires to blend with surroundings.

How Do Cell Towers Work?
Signal Transmission:

When you use your phone, it sends a signal to the nearest cell tower.

The tower then connects to a network of other towers and communication hubs.

Network Routing:

The signal is transmitted to a Mobile Switching Center (MSC), which determines where the call or data needs to go.

If you are calling another mobile phone, the signal is routed to the tower nearest to the receiver.

Handoff (Switching Towers While Moving):

If you are traveling, your phone seamlessly switches connections between towers.

This process is called a handoff or handover and ensures uninterrupted calls and data access.

5G Towers: Provide faster speeds and lower latency for modern applications.

Small Cells: Miniature towers used in cities for dense network coverage.
