Sales have experienced a substantial increase of 38% compared to the previous month, and a noteworthy 24% increase from the same time last year.

Furthermore, there's a noticeable downward trend in the average days properties spend on the market, with new listings now averaging just 20 days.

The average sale price in Durham has seen a further uptick of 3% since last month, reaching $919,017.

On March 6th, The Bank of Canada maintained its interest rate at 5% for the fifth consecutive time, with the next announcement scheduled for April 10th.
