Use the 97D foot for great 1/4 seams, but this foot can''t give you a scant 1/4 inch seam... Let me show you how to fix that! Use the Bernina #6 embroidery foot to get that scant 1/4 inch seam that is perfect for piecing! Just place your fabric at the very edge of this foot, then move the needle to the right 2X (two times). Fabric used is a quilt shop quality fabric for use in patchwork. Select your stitch length and stitch away!
This vlog is about the scant 1/4-inch seam using the Bernina #6 foot rather than the 97D foot. This is demonstrated on the Bernina 570 sewing machine demonstrating patchwork.
