Sam Edelman Loraine loafers get compared to Gucci's bit loafers a lot but are they really similar? I pull some right faces in this Sam Edelman unboxing and review (getting blinded by the sun or need a glass of wine). They both have the classic women's loafer shape and gold horse bit but that's really where it stops. The leather on the Sam Edelman loafers was too stiff for me so I personally didn't find them comfortable. Maybe they'd break in but I'd rather just get a pair made from softer leather to start with. I also recommend sizing down as I found they ran big.
However, they are great value for money and come in lots of sizes and other materials.
