Bulgaria Approves U.S. Air Base Use as Iran War Expands

Описание: Bulgaria’s Parliament has approved the deployment of up to eight U.S. KC-135 aerial-refuelling aircraft, 250 personnel and supporting equipment at Bezmer Air Base.

Bulgarian officials say the base will support logistical refuelling and will not be used to launch attacks. However, the decision has raised concerns that another European country could be pulled closer to the U.S.–Iran conflict.
