Import the SVG or DXF into your laser software (Glowforge App, xTool Creative Space, LightBurn, LaserGRBL etc.).
Use typical 3 mm material settings (adjust to your machine):
Plywood/MDF: Speed ≈ 10–15 mm/s Power ≈ 80–100 %
Acrylic: Speed ≈ 6–10 mm/s Power ≈ 90–100 %
Kerf adjustment:
Each laser beam removes a small gap (kerf) when cutting.
If the slots feel too tight, widen them slightly (≈ +0.05 to +0.1 mm).
If they’re too loose, reduce slot width slightly (≈ –0.05 mm).
Test-cut one slot before running the full job.
Keep masking tape on the surface to reduce burn marks.
Remove protective film after cutting and lightly sand edges if needed.
🧩 Assembly Instructions
Cut all pieces using your chosen material and laser settings.
Remove protective film from acrylic or plywood surfaces.
Slide the pieces together using the pre-designed slots.
Apply a small drop of glue for a permanent fit.
