I call this dish “Tod Mun Khaw Pood” because of the ingredients. But you can also name it “Khaw Pood Tod”. Both translate into “deep fried corn cake”.

100 g sweet corn
50g tapioca flour
50g wheat flour
50g rice flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1-2 tsp. sugar
1/2 finely ground chili
10g baking powder
4-5 tbsp. water
250-400 ml oil for deep frying

50 g Tapiokamehl
50 g Weizenmehl
50 g Reismehl
1/4 TL Salz
1-2 TL Zucker
1/2 fein gemahlene Chili
10 g Backpulver
4-5 EL Wasser
250-400 ml Öl zum Frittieren
*** Süße Chilisauce

ข้าวโพดหวาน 100 กรัม
แป้งมันสำปะหลัง 50 กรัม
แป้งสาลี 50 กรัม
แป้งข้าวเจ้า 50 กรัม
1/4 ช้อนชา เกลือ
1-2 ช้อนชา น้ำตาล
พริกป่น 1/2 เม็ด
ผงฟู 10g
4-5 ช้อนโต๊ะ ล. น้ำ
น้ำมัน 250-400 มล. สำหรับทอด
***ซอสพริกน้ำจิ้มไก่

🔶️EN🔶️INSTRUCTIONS🔶️
Today you will see how to prepare “Deep Fried Sweet Corn Cake” (Tod Mun Khaw Pood).
I call this dish “Tod Mun Khaw Pood” because of the ingredients. But you can also name it “Khaw Pood Tod”. Both translate into “deep fried corn cake”.
As always, you can find the necessary ingredients in the description of this video.
Let`s start to prepare the Deep Fried Corn Cake:
You need one head of sweet corn.
Something special: Today we will use 3 types of flour as ingredients.
These are tapioca flour, wheat flour and rice flour.
Then we need baking powder, sugar and salt.
Here are all the ingredients. Now we start cooking.
First dissolve the baking powder in water. Then set aside.
Take a bowl and add tapioca flour, wheat flour, rice flour. Mix them well.
Add salt, sugar and baking powder. Mix all ingredients well again.
Add some ground chili.
After that add some in water dissolved baking powder.
Slowly put it in, take care that the batter does not get too soft or too hard. Mix it well.
Add some shredded seed of corn in it. Mix it well again.
After that, put it aside.
Prepare for frying:
Heat the oil in a wok, making sure that it is well heated before adding the oil. When the oil starts to heat, we scoop about 1 tablespoon of the batter.
Continue to fry the corn cake on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
When it is done, put it on kitchen paper, in order to soak the oil.
Serve it warm, best with sweet chili sauce. (Nam Jim Gai)
