Описание: In this webinar, Jennifer Pitt, Colorado River Program Director for National Audubon Society, discusses efforts to protect and restore the Colorado River Delta. She also reviews the latest from the Raise the River coalition and its work to restore habitat and put water in the river in the context of Minute 323, the US-Mexico Colorado River agreement adopted in 2017. In addition, she reviews other aspects of the Minute, including water conservation requirements that would be triggered following US adoption of the Drought Contingency Plan. Pitt also addresses risks to the Cienega de Santa Clara, the largest remaining wetland in the Colorado River Delta, which relies on irrigation drainage from the United States.
