(AP) Protesters gathered outside the U.S. Embassy in Manila on Monday to denounce U.S. military action in Venezuela.
The protest was organized by a left-wing political coalition and saw activists carrying flags and banners calling for an end to "imperialist aggression".
Nicolás Maduro, the Venezuelan president, was captured on Saturday during an attack by U.S. forces on the capital city of Caracas.
A middle-of-the-night operation extracted Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, from their home in a military base.
The couple is set to make their first appearance in an American courtroom on Monday on the narco-terrorism charges the Trump administration used to justify capturing them and bringing them to New York.
