Shri Omkareshwar Blood Donation saving many lives 🚩🩸

Описание: The Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh is one of the 12 holy Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is special because it is located on Mandhata Island in the Narmada River, which naturally looks like the sacred “Om (ॐ)” symbol.

The temple has started a very helpful scheme. People who donate blood willingly get free VIP entry, so they don’t have to stand in long queues. Instead of waiting 3–4 hours, they can enter quickly after a 20-minute donation process.

Anyone who is healthy, aged between 18 to 60 years, and weighs at least 45 kg can donate blood. After donating, the person gets a VIP pass that allows fast entry for them and up to two family members. This is especially helpful for elderly people and children.

This initiative, started by the Khandwa district administration and temple authorities, has been very successful. It has solved the problem of blood shortage in the district hospital blood bank and is now even helping nearby districts, including providing rare blood groups like o- and AB- when needed.
