Описание: English composer Charles Villiers Stanford wrote this strong tune in 1904. The 1977 text by Fed Pratt Green, When in Our Music God Is Glorified, is often set to this tune. The melody's memorable motifs make excellent material for improvising. Recorded on September 6th, 2022, this is the first of my videos made following the completion of the rebuilding of the Broad Street Presbyterian Church (Columbus, OH) organ by the A. E. Schlueter Pipe Organ Company. In addition to new work (including the 5- manual console), the instrument contains substantial pipework by M. P. Moller (1937) and Schnatz (1986). This improvisation features the principal and mixture choruses and the many fine reeds, including Tromba, Festival Trumpet, and Trompette en Chamade.
