You reacted to her when she was in the band, "600 IBS of Sin", with the 29 song from 2010. They were a local band in West Virginia. Sierra Ferrell was battling depression and drug addiction during that time period. She left West Virginia a few years later to go busking, meaning she played for money in the streets to earn a living while homeless living in her van. By 2017 she settled in Nashville, Tennessee and got some studio recordings with some of these studio recordings going on YouTube and getting millions of views, which is fantastic since she was an unknown artist at the time. By the later months of 2019 she got a record deal with Rounder Records but her record and tour got delayed by over a year in 2020 because of the Covid restrictions. 2021 to especially this year, Sierra Ferrell is getting much more known and just won artist and album of the year at the Americana Awards
