Translator's Notes:

TL/N1: (this term will reappear throughout the series) I will primarily be translating onii-san (お兄さん) as “that guy” or some variant, mainly because I found it to be the most natural way to say it in English. Most know the term to mean “older brother”, though it is being used more like “mister” or “sir” in this context.

TL/N2: (This is more of a trivia thing than a translation note) The “ex-member” Mitsuki is talking about is Dave Grohl, Nirvana’s former drummer and the Foo Fighters’s frontman. Additionally, the CD that Mitsuki lends to Aya is “Dream Widow” (which has its own interesting backstory) and one of the songs from that album (The Sweet Abyss) is featured in the official playlist!

TL/N3: Boku (ぼく) is a first person pronoun mostly used by men. It has a masculine (and sometimes gender-neutral) sound to it. Mitsuki typically uses 私 (atashi, which is feminine, and watashi, which is more neutral but also slightly feminine) to refer to herself.
