Parking in Ingleton, you walk the 2 and half miles up the west side of Ingleborough. As we walked towards Ingleborough, it got bigger and bigger, the mountain was looking very regal in the snow. Once into the snow, which was deep in places, we had a top ten walking day in the sunshine and snow, A glorious, champagne winter day. Clear, sunny and cold. Lovely
A walk of around 8 miles onto the plateau of Ingleborough mountain top and back to Ingleton. The snow had drifted into deep drifts just at the edge of the top. Exciting
