Objective: To test the effect of different laser speed and power setting on a low quality 3 mm thick plywood. To be used as a reference for future laser project using the same material.

3:26 The Outcome
The laser speed x power tables were first created in PowerPoint and was then copied into the LightBurn laser software.
The laser setting was adjusted column by column i.e. adjust the setting for column one, start lasering and so forth. The video shown during the lasering process has been put on x50 speed for the “fill” and x20 speed for the “line”. The entire process took about three hours.
