Well done to everyone who attended our Ath’s Day Carnival at Casey Fields Regional Athletics Track yesterday! That was the last of Lyndale Sports Carnivals for 2023.


It was a great day with perfect weather to be doing Athletics yesterday!! There were lots of students dressed up in their house colours, in costumes and with face paint and glitter supporting or doing events! The best part of yesterday was the significant increase in student participation which was fantastic to see! Our data and recording staff team were constantly busy, thank you staff for all your help!


The VCAL team of staff and students cooked up a storm on the BBQ with food, drinks and snack all day, they were amazing! While other teachers were busy on events and making sure the day ran smoothly, thank you staff for all your efforts, much appreciated! BIG thanks to students who helped with assisting staff on events, you were fantastic!


Excellent participation from our Lyndale Students in both Field and Track events! Great effort in having ago! Now the results!!
The results are in for:
Best in Boys Field Events was Oakwood leading with 525 points
Best in Girls Field Events was Oakwood leading with 400 points
Best in Boys Track Events was Oakwood leading with 317 points
Best in Girls Track Events was Gladstone leading with 216 point
The overall winner was Oakwood winning with 1400 points on the day!
