Honda just posted their sales results for all of 2025. Here's my breakdown of the high points and low points and I also predict where they're headed.

American Honda (AHM) posted sales of 1,430,577 units in 2025, its best year since 2021, a year over year increase of 0.5%. The sales increase was achieved despite the impact of changes in market conditions and a microchip shortage that contributed to leaner inventories in the 4th quarter. AHM December sales totaled 118,659 units.
Honda brand annual sales totaled 1,297,144, up 0.4% compared to last year, with record sales of both light trucks (topping 900,000 units for the first time) and electrified models (over 400,000 units for the first time).
Acura brand annual sales totaled 133,433 in 2025, up nearly 1%, led by strong sales of gateway models and SUVs. December sales reached 11,843 units, marking the brand’s best month since May as it began to recover from inventory shortages that affected key models throughout the year.
