His 16 strikeouts ties the club record set by Jack Harshman on 7/25/54 at Boston and are the most in MLB since Spencer Strider on 9/1/22 vs. Colorado (also 16). It marked his 25th career game with 10-plus strikeouts and third of 2023 (also 4/11 at MIN and 4/29 vs. TB).

Lance Lynn, at age 36 years, 37 days, is the oldest pitcher to strike out 16 or more in a game since Randy Johnson (39 years, 4 days) struck out 17 on September 14, 2002 (via Chris Kamka).

The Chicago White Sox return home for six games in seven days vs. the Texas Rangers (6/19-21) and Boston Red Sox (6/23-25).
