Adams, a blues musician, gained notoriety as an in-demand Los Angeles session player from 1964 through the 1970's and Edna Wright, sister of Darlene Love, made her name as one of L.A.'s session singer royalty before forming the hit-making group, The Honey Cone in 1969.
