This year, Avril 14th is teaming up with Acceleration Radio to bring you a very special evening of experimental electronic music. Featuring captivating and unique performances by:

+Special Guest, Dark Arps

✹Eva Pekárová - Eva Pekárová will be debuting a new performance piece, sharing ambient versions of her upcoming album ‘Kairos’. Equipped with four flutes and a midi controller, capturing/triggering samples and possibly covering an Aphex song or two. We’re very grateful to host the debut of her new work at Avril_14th.

✹Eli Muro - Eli Muro has been producing, DJing and performing live for quite sometime. His most recent release; ‘Tributaries’ is what captured our attention, an album made with sequencers and drum machines. Eli Muro will be bringing said hardware and sharing some unreleased material.

✹Plusol - Plusol's world is vast. Filled with highly creative compositions and sound design elements that keep reminding us that there are always new genres to be championed. A quick search reveals a large bank of releases. Plusol’s design work also deserves a mention as it’s elaborate and refreshing.

✹Cloudlvl - a Vancouver based producer who performs live electronic music using his electronic drum kit. A truly captivating and innovative approach that allows Cloudlvl to create and manipulate sound layers on the spot. Live drumming in the electronic world is rare, this is a one of a kind experience.

✹Xiumei - starting out as a host for BSide Radio shows, Taiwanese DJ and producer Xiumei has steadily built their presence in the Vancouver music scene, collaborating with local collectives like Ambient/ETC and Normie. Known for their playful yet dark sets that blend electro, ambient, as well as techno sounds. We witnessed Xiumei’s latest DJ set at Ambient/Etc and it truly grabbed our hearts.
