One of the cool things I have the privilege of being able to do is ferry Aerostars for new owners and Aerostar Aircraft in Coeur d Alene, ID. On this trip I got to pick up an Aerostar 700 in Mosinee, WI and fly it to Coeur d Alene then a few months later take it from there to Barnstown, KY. There are always challenges, but still lots of fun.
The Aerostar is the fastest piston twin.
Two world speed records:
1000k closed course at 259 kts
2000k closed course at 277 kts
