Описание: The Gambia Senior Secondary Schools Sports Association on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026, announced the Inter-schools heat and Athletics competition is on final phase to commence. These contest aims to gather athletes from regions, representing their various schools from regional to the national stage. As disclosed by the sports Association secretariat during a media briefing, the years competition stands a contrast from recently held athletic heats. West coast, formally recognized to compete under one region will be divided into two: West Coast and West Coast West. Schools in the KM area will be joined together with Banjul, with and Kaur and Bansang divided into two; North and South. Basse LRR and North Bank Region will be joined together, ultimately hosting their competitions at Farafenni.
