2021 - Placing a 20ft, double-door, one-trip shipping container at the entry to the property. This was first used at my little experimental garden in Marion, then transported on a rollback wrecker (one advantage of the 20' vs 40'), to this property.
First, a snippet about changing the wheels on the chipper that mates to my Grillo 2 wheel, walk-behind tractor. These make moving it off-road on rougher terrain possible. Not easy, but possible.
Placing a shipping container very early on when developing new land for a homestead or whatever makes a lot of sense, as it gives you instant, secure storage for tools, supplies, possibly a small solar or other power station, without having to transport everything, every trip, especially if the distance is an hour or more each way.
You can also have something as simple as a 5-gallon bucket, with a trash bag and a "camping seat" that fits on top, as a toilet on site.
Of course, the security is only as good as the lock. There are some really heavy locks, some "puck" style that make cutting next to impossible, but no all of them fit, without some modification.
