Описание: There’s been a change at the top for both Roberts Wesleyan lacrosse teams. The women have a new coach for the first time since 2015. The men have a new coach for the first time in program history, though the name is the same. Rocky Delfino takes over for his father, also named Rocky, who started the program in 2012. Ellen Newton takes over for Kristin Paolini, who had a very successful ten-year run. Newton played goalie at Division I Canisius and had been an assistant coach at D’Youville. She went to Victor high school, so the Roberts job was a chance to come home. Rocky Delfino is a 2019 Roberts grad. He played four years of defense for his father who recently stepped down as head coach after 14 years. The younger “Rock” has been a Roberts assistant for six seasons.
