Casinos are some of the largest and most expensive buildings on earth. They have more cameras per square foot then any other publicly accessible building, yet there is hardly any use of computer vision or object detection on casino gambling tables. Why and how that is changing today.
Industrial design, Innovation, Invention, Machine Learning, Product design, Technology "Nasr runs the cross-functional NRT team responsible for product management, pricing, market intelligence and innovation. He has responsibility for strategic formulation, developing the corporate vision, leading strategic initiatives, transformation, and partnerships.
He brings a broad range of payments and technology innovation experience to the company. Previously, at game developer AGS (NYSE: AGS), Nasr led the team that was responsible for table products, including the award-winning Stax Progressive System and the Dex S Shuffler. From naming new games, to holding patents, to advising on product road maps, Nasr managed products from conception through launch. Before that, he ran payment product implementations at Everi, (NYSE: EVRI) and was part of the relationship management team at the company. He worked across multiple gaming jurisdictions during his career, and has visited hundreds of casino customers around the world.
Nasr’s natural inventiveness, deep understanding of customer operations, and his academic work – he studied finance and information systems at James Madison University and graduate business studies at MIT Sloan School of Management – make him an ideal leader for NRT’s Innovation and Strategy group." This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
