Python's contribution is a six-minute piece describing traditional May Day celebrations in England, including "The Fish-Slapping Dance" (replayed on the Oct. 26, 1972, episode of Flying Circus), "The Gavotte of the Long John Silvers," "The Annual Re¬turn of the Overdue Library Book," "Nun-Boiling Week," and "The Spring Dance of the Futures Brokers." This rarely-seen Python sequence was shown again (with a re-constituted soundtrack) on Oct. 9, 1999, as part of BBC2's "Python Night." Directed by Hans-Bernhard Theopold.
