This is a video that shows what Covid-19 hotel quarantine i is really like. You can see everything from the check-in process, necessary supplies, how they serve food, as well as why I am supportive of it as a way to keep people safe.
I spent 14 nights / 15 days in isolation at a hotel in Shanghai after returning from London in November. During that time I did not take a single step outside my room, or speak properly to another real-life person.
Overall, despite the personal difficulty, I am fully supportive of centralised quarantine as a way to minimise imported cases and get life back to normal for those inside secure bubbles.
