108 Shiva temple in Kalna is under the supervision of the Archaeological Survey of India. One of the historical places of West Bengal and one of the religious places for Hindus and one of the notable places of Ambika Kalna is this 108 Shiva temple which is also known as Nava Kailash. Navaratna temples decorated with outer and inner circles. A white marble Shivalinga and a black rough stone Shivalinga are arranged alternately in the outer circle of these Shiva temples of Anat Chala style. And in the inner circle all the shivlings are made of white white marble, the white shivling is very rare. There are 74 Shiva temples in the outer circle and 34 inner ones. The terracotta work of the temples is worth seeing, in which the verses of Ramayana, Mahabharata can be seen engraved in the temples.

If you want to come here, take the Katowa local from Howrah and reach Ambika Kalna station within 2 hours. Then from there take a toto and come to this 108 Shiva temple, it will take only 10 minutes, the fare is 10 taka.
