Criminal investigation launched in relation to Mandelson's Epstein emails

Описание: The police have launched an investigation into misconduct in a public office in relation to Lord Mandelson - after it was alleged he shared sensitive information with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

He is yet to comment publicly on the allegations, but has said that he regrets his friendship with Epstein.

Meanwhile, the police are assessing allegations that a woman was sent by Jeffrey Epstein to meet Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor here in the UK.

The former prince has always denied any wrongdoing.

The woman's lawyer claims she spent the night at the then-Prince's residence in Windsor back in 2010.

Susanna Reid and Ed Balls were joined by Daily Mirror columnist Kevin Maguire and former Conservative chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng to discuss more.
