Previous attempt results are here: • Sega Saturn RGB Direct connection to GBS-8...
And thanks dad, for providing me the info to fix that: I was using non-shielded wires, so it was just a matter of changing the original wires for shielded ones, and I got a clean and constant image. It's like playing the game in SSF with and/or without image filtering, depending on the setup you make in GBS-8220.
Next Goal: Direct connection to the VGA Signal input (mentioned as RGBHV signal in the GBS-8220 manual). I didn't figure out how that works yet, but there's a cable which was being selled on ebay a few time ago that already does this. source: http://segasaturngroup.proboards.com/.... I see no room to fit any kind of circuit to separate H-sync and V-sync
Issue: Pin 1 of console already provides the sync signal, but VGA pinout require two wires for sync (v-sync and h-sync) . I don't know what to do yet, and any help will be welcome :D
When I solve the mystery of VGA H and V-sync pinouts I believe that I'll be able to build a proper cable for Saturn and my other consoles.
