Описание: On November 11th, local time, the 2023 North American Shaolin Kung Fu Examination and Achievement Conference, hosted by the Shaolin Temple of Mount Song in China, opened in Los Angeles, USA. Overseas disciples, learners, and enthusiasts of Shaolin Kung Fu from over 40 states in the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, and other countries, gathered together to exchange martial arts skills.

The 2023 North American Shaolin Kung Fu Examination and Achievement Conference, held from the 11th to the 12th of November in Los Angeles, includes the inaugural "North American Shaolin Examination Competition," a World Peace Prayer Ceremony, certification for Shaolin Kung Fu stage levels, and Shaolin Kung Fu performances.

The "North American Shaolin Examination Competition," which opened on the morning of the 11th, is the main event, with approximately 500 participants in this year's competition. The youngest participant is only 6 years old, while some participants are seniors. They are grouped by age and compete in various categories, including Shaolin martial arts, long weapons, and short weapons. The "Kung Fu Star" selected from the competition will participate in the "Immortal Shaolin" performance alongside Shaolin Temple monks.

This event marks the return of Shaolin Temple to the United States for a large-scale cultural exchange event, a decade after the "North American Shaolin Cultural Festival" in 2013. Abbot Shi Yongxin of Shaolin Temple and Wang Taiyu, the Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, and other dignitaries attended the opening ceremony of the examination and achievement conference.
