Libyan rebels make western advances

Opposition forces in western Libya have been celebrating territorial gains after launching a fresh offensive in the area.

Forces under rebel commanders have taken the strategic towns of Ghezaia and Takhut, and say they will now march on Tripoli, the capital.

Al Jazeera's James Bays, who was the first international journalist to visit the towns after they were taken by rebel forces, reports.
