U.S. presents draft UN Security Council resolution, adding more N. Korean individuals and entities

The United States passed new sanctions on North Korea on Thursday.
And... the same day... it also proposed new sanctions in the UN Security Council.
The draft resolution, which is likely to be approved, would add more individuals and entities to the existing UN blacklist.
It'll be up for a vote later Friday, and as our Kwon Jang-ho reports,... is believed to have the support of all veto-wielding member countries, including China.
The U.S. presented a draft resolution to the UN Security Council on Thursday... that would strengthen existing sanctions on North Korea.
According to the Associated Press, the Council's blacklist is set to include 15 more individuals and 4 more organizations, resulting in a global travel ban and a freeze on their assets.
They include government officials and corporate executives who assist the North Korean regime in espionage and in moving money and military hardware, as well as a North Korean Bank and two trading houses linked to North Korea's military.
If ratified by the Council it would add to an already lengthy blacklist of 39 individuals and 42 entities.

The resolution is set to be put to a vote on Friday, and it's expected to pass... as all five veto-wielding permanent Council members are said to have approved the draft.
That includes China, a key ally of North Korea, which has previously objected to more sanctions.
It reportedly brings to an end weeks of negotiations with China on the draft, and now the U.S. is said to be wanting to move quickly.
The draft resolution condemns Pyongyang's nuclear and missile tests 'in the strongest terms' and calls on the regime to give up its nuclear weapons "in a complete, verifiable and irreversible manner."
