Some sources are claiming that man-portable anti-tanks, unmanned aerial systems, and urban warfare brought the end of the tanks. But the reality is different. There is no other weapon to provide fire support to the infantry under ballistic protection, manoeuvre, and taking shots when necessary. It is known that the current generation main battle tanks are at the end of their limit. Due to that, there is an evolution in the reducing weight thanks to next-generation armour structure, which developed with advanced material technologies and the situational awareness axis. Human-machine cooperation, UAV infrastructure and passive protection issues are also in focus. The last three new prototypes are different from the others. Thus, we can say every nation has different expectations as well.
