As far as specs go, the camera setup here sounds remarkably familiar compared with the A55. But the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G can still capture decent photos, albeit with a basic ultra-wide and no telephoto lens. Gamers will be less impressed as this mid-range smartphone once again struggles with Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves and more intensive titles.

Battery life has been excellent, however. The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G can last all day without panic, thanks to the 5000mAh cell and energy efficient running.

Not many other upgrades across this phone, vs the A55. Just a few tweaks here and there, as well as one downgrade - the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G doesn't support microSD memory cards. Good thing, then, that Sammy has stuffed 256GB storage inside of this smartphone by default.
