Where there is a smell, there is a worry! This video will show you how to remove the compressor drip tray behind the fridge freezer for cleaning.
The hole at the back of your fridge has a tube attached where the moisture from your fridge goes down through, onto the compressor drip tray and will evaporate.
If food / liquid from food has managed to get through the tube and in to the tray, the compressor it sits on gets as hot as 70'c. This in turn can heat that food / liquid up and where it has not been cleaned out, will start to smell.
