About the Presenter Usha Garodia

Usha Garodia is a distinguished ceramic artist who has been working with clay since 1983. With over four decades of experience, she has developed a unique artistic voice rooted in experimentation, material exploration, and a deep connection to the medium. She has held 21 solo exhibitions at prestigious galleries across India, along with an international solo show in Boston, and has participated in several group exhibitions in India and abroad, including Spain.

Garodia has actively contributed to the ceramics community by conducting Paper Kiln workshops in India and hand-building workshops in Spain. Her work has been featured in numerous international competitions, including in Taiwan, Italy, Shanghai, Croatia, France, and Slovenia, where she has received multiple Awards of Excellence.
Working with diverse clays and self-developed glazes, her practice reflects a meditative and therapeutic engagement with the five elements, embodying both innovation and introspection.
