Today left Champex-Lac and took the Bovine route to the Col de la Forclaz and then dropped down into the Swiss village of Trient, famous for it’s pink church, to spend the night at Auberge Mont Blanc.
We skipped the variant route via the Col du Fenêtre because we weren't 100% sure we were up for the steep descent. Once we arrived in Trient we saw the pink chapel and had a phenomenal brunch at Auberge Mont Blanc before a crazy hail storm blew through. We had another private room and the food was amazing.
