In this episode of Where I Bike, I visit Noah, the mind behind Cursive
Cycling — a rider, collector, and consultant whose garage is equal parts bike
museum and creative lab. Every bike reflects a different chapter in Noah’s
lifelong obsession with cycling.

Step inside and you’ll find a wild collection: a 29er singlespeed, a Serotta Club
Special, a gravel build, a titanium 26er he’d dreamed of owning for years. “It
came up locally,” Noah says, “and I just had to grab it.” Many of the bikes are
almost completely original — time capsules from the eras they were built.
There’s a rowan frameworks bike that won best paint at bespoked, complete
with one of the very first White Industries headsets ever made.

Beyond collecting, Noah works as a cycling industry consultant, helping
brands refine what they do and how they communicate it. His perspective is
shaped by a life spent riding and wrenching, not just analysing. “It’s such a
weird industry,” he says. “The people building the best bikes aren’t always the
ones selling the most. There’s passion and desire — and that’s not something
you can fake.”

He’s quick to point out where many bike brands go wrong: “They try to do too
much. Instead of focusing on the one thing they do brilliantly, they spread
themselves thin. Just tell more people about that one great thing — that’s
where the magic is.”

Noah’s garage feels like the Aladdin Cave of the cycling world, itself — a little
chaotic, full of stories, and powered by genuine love for bikes. Whether he’s
consulting for brands, riding local trails, or tinkering with a half-finished frame,
Cursive Cycling is proof that creativity and passion are still at the core of
cycling culture.
