Описание: “Marvel at This" is a song composed, produced and performed by Alpha25, featuring vocals by ricesumichu, based on the video game Marvel Rivals.

Well, now I seem to be about 4 months late, but I can safely say it was fully worth it this time. This song has been in the making since August 2024, and I instantly knew I wanted to make it about all the characters in the game. So, the first verses started off as a description of every character, but starting with verse 3 it felt much more natural to go more toward a cypher vibe, having each character rap about themselves. And so I did. The issue, however, was that there was no female vocalist willing to help me out. So, rather than asking around aimlessly, I reached out to ricesumichu, who I knew from her song covers, and she agreed to take part in this! Without her, this song would’ve been far from how I saw it in my head. For a bit more trivia, I actually wanted a voice somewhere in between the SAM TTS and a neutral video game-y announcer, so I settled on tuning KAITO in a talkloid style for the Fantastic Four part. There’s also a TON of Marvel Easter Eggs and memes in the lyrics, so if you’re a die-hard fan of Marvel, this is gonna be a feast to you! With the occasion of this mix, I learned a little more about vocal compression, how to sync vocals to references, and the fact that you have to be extremely creative to overcome limitations.
