Tor des Geants 2025 TOR330

Описание: Tor Des Geants is an epic adventure trail race around the Aosta Valley Italy in September. TOR 330 is the crown jewel of the events and you have 150 hours to complete it, non-stop. There are cut offs, but the idea is that runners choose how best to get around the Aosta Valley, with over 25, 000 metres of ascending and descending.

Sleep deprivation, constant climbing and descending are your constant companions. This is the first of this kind of race that I have every undertaken and the vide shows - in a muddled way - how I went through it, some thoughts and the incredible views and people. With only 1.5 hours sleep and 2 hours of 10 min closed eyes, it was an incredible adventure of grit and perseverance with resilience of the human spirit. To say I am proud is an understatement but I could not have done it if it was not for my support group in the form of a whatsapp group and both my running and strength coach in particular leading up to this. It takes serious dedication and planning - more than just running or hiking. I am proud to say I am a Giant and this race has most definitely changed me in so many ways. The weather was incredible in the week and we were fortunate to have experienced the views that we did. Out of 1200 starters 744 of us completed the Aosta loop of Tor 330. What a world class, unforgettable event.
