This zip isn't easy but well worth it for a super pretty effect. If I was to do it again I would probably staz away from a metal zip or if I used one finish the zip just below the zip end so the machine has not to sew over any metal. Obviously I discovered, looking at clothes in the shop just after I filmed this, that that is exactly what they do! If you want more of the zip to show you need to fold the zip away at the top leaving the 1 cm seam allowance standing.
Try a sample first for practice and if you think you can cope this a fab way to put in a zip.
