Описание: (Sacramento) -- Assemblymember Roger Dickinson (D-Sacramento) wants all California parents to know about a critical initial open-enrollment period to buy individual health insurance coverage for their children. It's happening now and ends on March 1st. As a result of President Obama's federal health care reform plan and a new state law authored by Assemblymember Mike Feuer (D-Los Angeles), insurers can no longer deny coverage to children, whether they are sick or healthy. It's important that parents sign their kids up for health insurance during this initial open enrollment period.
