I decided to try something new and capture this snapshot of a sunset in Hollywood. This neighborhood is funny. On one hand, the streets are consistently congested with people and cars shopping, dining, and really anything else you can think of. On the other hand, there are pockets of calmness and nature once you turn onto a side street. I looked up one day and saw a pair of shoes dangling from a telephone wire to a backdrop of serene palm trees waving in the wind. This image perfectly captured the juxtaposition of the two faces of Hollywood. So please enjoy this sunset in Hollywood where you can hear birds, faint conversations of people on the street, police cars, and everything in between.
