Описание: I have been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) with the TP53 mutation at an 80.4% VAF and the I255N variant. Eight doctors have told me I have about one to two years before I develop Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) or bone marrow failure. The only hope for a cure is a stem cell transplant, but with my diagnosis, I would only have a 1 in 5 chance of a long- term cure and would potentially live with graft-host rejection and other immune disorders. If not cured, it would only give me another six to eight months to live. So, I'm going to live my best life while I still feel healthy. My blood counts are normal as of today, March 1, 2026, and thankfully, I have no symptoms. I was first diagnosed on Nov. 1st, 2025, following a bone marrow biopsy.
