How to fix a Kitchenaid/Whirlpool Oven that won't turn on and won't open

Описание: This Kitchenaid Superba oven suddenly failed while in self-cleaning mode. Step by step diagnosis and repair are shown. The model number of the oven shown is KEBC208KSS02, and the oven shutdown thermal fuse replaced was part #4452223. Parts charts and manuals are available at the Kitchenaid website. I'm told the KEBC207KSS model is similar.

The control panel thermal fuse was not available through the Kitchenaid dealer, but examination of the part with a magnifying glass showed the part was made by Microtemp, with id as follows, MNKAFC G4A00 110C. I found a very close replacement at a local professional electronics shop.
