If you are in the market for a tough fat tire ebike with a mid drive motor with steel gears then you need to take a closer look at the bikes from http://www.bakcou.com

Im intrigued for several reasons...
1. Steel gears vs nylon gears. mid drive system looks like its built like a tank. I have never liked the idea of nylon gears.

2. I have always liked the idea of a mid drive system because I want to do a lot of hill climbs in my area. (I live near Tahoe now)

3. Ebikes are silent. Probably good for entering hunting grounds without scaring everything away....plus if I use it for fun at the camp grounds it isn't as obnoxious as a gas dirt bike. Oh...and if I bug out with it...I can sneak around the woods without giving my position away. I might have to get away from people who have the Coronavirus lol.

4. Unlike gas engines this bike has no scent...well...not of gasoline anyway.

5. Almost zero maintenance compared to a gas engine. A few drops of oil on the chain and hubs and a pocket full of brake pads is really all you need.

6. No need to carry gas on my truck or at the campsite or at the house like a dirt bike. This can be charged with a solar panel or just carry a spare battery and hot swap them when the 1st battery dies. You can carry a high efficiency solar powered battery bank on the trailer with panels and recharge at the camp site.

7. Fat tire bikes are like mountain goats. They can float over snow and sand and with a motor....you can go places a jeep cant. Deer trails are your roads now!

Any other ideas? let me know.

BTW I know there re negatives but there are a lot of positives.
